Computer Assisted Art Collage

Today 2/16- Use your embellished drawing to create a collage.

1.)Scroll down to the tutorials

2.) Pick one and use your images to complete.

3.) Print off copy and turn in to Mrs. Hurd

4.)Email nhurd@fchsmules.com photoshop file of completed collage.

2/4/2016-  Embellishing a hand drawn graphic in Photoshop.

Directions:
Open Scanned Images in your email & download pdf.
Download images to your student folder or google drive.
Open Photoshop.
Click File < Open & find images that you have saved.
Click File < Save As & save images individually as psd (photoshop) files.

Now use different layers, and filters to adjust your image.  When you have added color, filters, and numerous layers and effects save the image as a new photoshop file.

Here is a cool idea for your hand:  Collage Printed Images

Graphic Design Type Tool Exercise

Step 1:  Image search animal silhouettes.....right click and copy interesting animal.

Step 2: Open Photoshop.  New document 8.5 x 11 inches 200 ppi

Step 3:  Paste Image into new document and resize to fit.
Step 4:  Double click background layer to unlock, right click and merge animal and background layer together.

Step 5. Click new layer and begin using type tool to write words.  Below I used B  E  A  R.  Each letter on a separate layer.  Right click, and rasterize each type layer.

Step 6:  Use the free transformation tool and the warp too to resize text to fit inside silhouette.  Remember now that the layer is rastersized you can erase parts of the text you don't need.  Feel free to add drop shadows, or use the blur and smudge tool as well.  You can see below I used the smudge tool to create the bear claws.
